RepostViewer is a free tool for browsing the videos that a TikTok user has publicly reposted. You do not need an account to use the viewer. If you choose to sign in, we ask for your email address so we can authenticate your account.

What you send us

For a lookup, the only data you provide is a TikTok username that you type into the search box. When you submit a lookup, that username is sent to our server over HTTPS. If you choose to sign in, you also provide your email address to Neon Auth.

How a lookup works

Our server passes the username to a third-party data provider (TikHub) and asks it for publicly available TikTok data. The provider returns video metadata such as video IDs, author names, view and like counts, descriptions, and links to media files. Our server trims this to the fields needed for display and sends them to your browser.

Cover images, avatars and video playback are loaded directly from TikTok's media servers by your browser. Those requests go to TikTok's infrastructure, not to us, and are subject to TikTok's own handling.

What we store

We do not keep your lookups. Lookup results are returned to your browser and are not saved by us after the response. If you sign in, Neon Auth stores the account and authentication data needed to provide that optional account.

To prevent abuse of the paid upstream service, our server keeps a short-lived in-memory counter derived from your IP address. It is used only to enforce the request rate limit, is never persisted or shared, and disappears when the server instance restarts.

Cookies

We set a cookie that remembers your language preference. If you sign in, we also set cookies needed to keep you signed in and protect your session. We do not set advertising cookies.

Analytics

No analytics scripts are loaded by default. If analytics are enabled in the future (for example Plausible or Google Analytics), the corresponding provider's privacy policy will apply, and this page will be updated to say which provider is active.

Third parties involved

  • TikHub — the data provider that resolves the username and returns public TikTok metadata. It receives the username you looked up and our API key (server-side only).
  • TikTok — media files are fetched from TikTok's servers by your browser.
  • Neon Auth — provides optional email authentication and stores the authentication data and session needed to keep you signed in.
  • Our hosting provider (Vercel) — processes standard infrastructure logs such as request timestamps and source IPs, as described in its own documentation.

Public content only

The tool only surfaces publicly available TikTok content. Private content cannot be accessed, and no attempt is made to identify visitors of TikTok or of this site.

Children

The service is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page.
